URGENTLY NEEDED - VOLUNTEERS FOR DUTCHTOWN INVITATIONAL MARCHING BAND FESTIVAL SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th

The Dutchtown High School Marching Festival is our largest and most important fundraiser of the year. This cannot be done without the support of our Band Family (parents and student). It is at this time I would like to send out this urgent request for you and your entire family to volunteer for this event. You do not have to work the entire day but if you can give us 3-4 hours of your time it will greatly help in our effort to pull this event together. We pride ourselves on what we can do as a Band Family and we cherish all the wonderful comments and praises from the participating schools and their fans.

Areas where assistance is still needed are:

 Concessions  

Adult Band Host - to follow an assigned band from the time they arrive until the end of their performance

Parking attendant - you will assist with the parking of the busses and the vehicles that carry the equipment for the bands - you will not be parking the general admission 

Equipment Movers -- THE most critical area that we are in need of volunteers and equipment is the equipment movers. This area is responsible for getting each performing band's equipment on and off the field in a timely manner. Each band is only given a certain amount of time to get on  and off the field. If this cannot be done then they are penalized points. This is why we are in a critical need for 4 wheelers, trailers (no smaller than 8X10) and adults to drive them.

Student Workers -   Anywhere we can place you -- All students should work a few hours somewhere.
