Thank you to those of you who contributed to the care package that was sent on Tuesday, 12/4 to
Rich Launey and other soldiers serving our country.  We had a great response.

If you missed the 12/3 deadline, you'll have other opportunities to contribute, as this will be an
ongoing project.  So bring your items to the band room and place them in or by the plastic bin by the
band room office whenever you like.  As we get enough items in, the volunteers will send them out.

We will be sending care packages to Rich Launey in Iraq and to John Carter who is in Kuwait. 
John is the brother of Shelley Smith, one of our band parents.  If we hear of any other soldiers, we'll
send them a care package too.
