 Welcome to Dutchtown High School Band!

The Dutchtown High School Band--The Dutchtown Sound--is entering the season with high expectations.  The Band is putting its new program together for the fall marching season.  Winter Color Guard and Drumline will begin competing separately at the end of the second nine weeks.  With Spring, comes two concert bands, a jazz band and more competion for the Color Guard and Drumline.  Check out the different areas that we have pages on and join the Dutchtown Sound throughout the year.

Itinerary for District Festival Wednesday, March 10, 2010
 
Symphonic Band – Bring Bow Ties, Black Shoes, Black Socks to school
3:00 PM - report to the band room for rehearsal. You will dress into uniforms before you leave.
3:45 PM – depart for Woodlawn High School
5:00 PM - Performance
6:00 PM – depart for Dutchtown High School
6:20 PM – arrival time at Dutchtown High
 
Everyone is responsible to bring their instruments on the bus with them. The following instruments will be put on the truck: Tubas, Baritones, Bari Sax, Contra Clarinet, Bass Clarinets and Tenor Saxophones and all percussion. 
 
Symphonic Winds - Come to school with Black shoes and Black socks on and bow tie in hand to dress. You will dress into your uniform before departing for Woodlawn.
6:15 Arrive and get into uniform
6:50 – depart for Woodlawn
Everyone is responsible to bring their instruments on the bus with them. The exception to this is the Tubas, Baritones, Bari Sax, Contra Clarinets, Bass Clarinets and Tenor Saxophones and all percussion. You will be responsible to put your instrument on the truck or carry on the bus.
8:00 Performance
9:00 – Depart for Dutchtown High School.
