Marching Band

With approximately 240 dedicated student musicians and performers, the 2025 Dutchtown Sound Marching Band and Colorguard has made history as the largest ensemble ever at Dutchtown High School. It is also one of the largest marching bands in the state of Louisiana. Performing their show called The Contraption at the 2025 LMEA Marching Band State Competition, Dutchtown Sound earned Superior ratings for auxiliary, percussion, and overall band solidifying their back-to-back State Runner-Up awards for Division 5C, which is the largest and most competitive in the state.
